About Us
German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California regularly adopts dogs to residents of any of 16 Northern California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Madera, Marin, Merced, Napa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne. We also consider, resources permitting, potential adopters residing in Lake, Monterey, and San Benito counties. Our educational outreach extends to anywhere in Northern California. We do not adopt to homes outside of Northern California.
Our Porpose
German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California is dedicated to the rescue and welfare of German Shepherd Dogs. Our volunteers help foster and adopt dogs to willing homes.
Our Work
Join us at our Adoption Days where you have an opportunity to learn more about German Shepherd Dogs, speak with our volunteers, and meet dogs available for adoption.
