Coalition Honors Jim Howell
2005 Recipient of the "Compassion In Action" Award
Jim Howell's work for the animals is well known to animal shelters and rescue groups.  For many years, Jim has transported animals from San Diego to northern California to help them get from the shelters to new forever homes.  Although a board member and dedicated volunteer for the Greyhound Adoption Center, Jim's work has never been breed (or even species) discriminatory.  He is an invaluable partner to those whose life work is to help the animals.

Jim and his lovely wife, Lindsay, are regulars at the local shelters.  They help to socialize animals, foster them, transport them and help to network rescuers around the country.  Jim is also a Coalition Advisory Board member and Team Leader on the Super Adoption Committee.

What would we (and our furry friends) do without you, Jim?
